As far as cocktails go, margaritas are one of the best, most refreshing and easy to make. Blended or on the rocks – there’s no “best” way. Unless you want to zhoosh it up with strawberries or watermelon or cucumber, then blending might just be better. Summer is coming ~ get your cocktail bar set up now!

For One Margarita on the Rocks
- 1 oz blanco/silver tequila
- 1 oz orange liqueur, Cointreau or Grand Marnier
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ½ zo agave nectar or your own simple syrup
- Ice
- Coarse salt for rimming glass
- Lime slices for garnish

Glassware: Double rocks tumbler
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass. Fill a low rim bowl with coarse salt. Dip the glass into the salt to coast edge. Fill glass with several pieces of ice. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave. Vigorously shake for about 30-45 seconds. Strain into the glass. Taste for sweetness and add more agave if so desire. Garnish with lime slice and enjoy!
