This is a nice cocktail for the holiday gatherings you may be hosting this season. It’s easy to make, requires little in the way of pom-poms and hoopla. Just a nice glass and a pretty garnish. And the booze, of course.
- 1 oz good bourbon
- 1/2 oz berry liqueur (such as Crème de cassis or Chambord)
- 3 oz sparkling wine
- 1 thin slice of lemon or orange for garnish
Fill a low-ball bourbon glass with ice. Add bourbon and berry liqueur of choice and stir. Add sparkling wine. Garnish and sip.
