This turmeric citrus miso soup is new to our catalog. Offering it with tofu makes it a vegan and vegetarian option. Enjoying this soup requires serious utensils and accompaniments ~ big spoons, chopsticks, maybe forks and your favorite spice toppings. The photo does not depict all the many ingredients we put into the soup. Because this is new recipe, we do not have a photo to show our version, so we borrowed this one. Our broth is a glistening, golden color made from a simmer of vegetable stock, organic turmeric, organic ginger, organic white miso, organic shallot, organic garlic, onions, organic leeks, fresh lemon, organic tamari and dark sesame oil. We finish it with sautéed tamari sesame shiitakes, hakusai cabbage, sesame garlic sautéed snow peas, thinly sliced ginger sesame organic yukon potatoes, fresh organic spinach, sesame ginger shoyu marinated organic tofu and bring it to you with a fresh rice noodle parcel garnished with organic green onions.
