How Does This Work?

Menus come out on Thursdays for the upcoming week and orders are taken through Saturday night. Because we make small batches of soups and foods each week, we do sell out quickly, so we encourage you to order early! However, please do check with us if you miss this cutoff time. Sometimes we have enough and can squeeze you in.

When You Order:

  1. Take a look at our menus of the week. Take note of the ingredients and the key that indicates if the menu is vegan (VG), vegetarian (VEG), gluten free (GF) or freezer friendly (FF).
  2. Make your selections and indicate number of each.
  3. Select your Soup Group from the soup group tab.  If you do not have a soup group, please contact Josie at jrankinmarketing@comcast.net so we can help find a group for you.  Customers must have affiliation with the Soup Groups listed to place an order for delivery with these groups.
  4. If we are out of the item you wanted, please take a look at our other offerings to see if we have room on these lists.
  5. Once payment is made, you will receive an email confirming your order went through – and your ordering journey is complete!
  6. When your order is delivered, you will receive a message “Pepper & Salt delivered to you today!”

Delivery

Orders are taken through Saturday nights. Delivery days are Wednesdays and Thursdays depending on your location. Once you have established a Soup Group, we will establish your delivery day.

Refund Policy:

What if I don’t get my soup?
All soups will come with your name on the container. We spend a great deal of time making sure that each customer has their OWN order. Even with your name on the container, we occasionally hear that a soup is missing because someone grabbed the wrong order. Best bet is to ask around – most often it’s in the hands of someone you know and their order has not been picked up. In the case of a missing order that just can’t be found – we are not able to reimburse or replace that order so we encourage people to pick up orders as soon as possible – always within 24 hours of delivery.

Possible snafus …
If we have somehow delivered your soup to another location or had an unfortunate snafu and dropped your container [it has happened!] ~ to the best of our ability we will replace your order. If we max’d out on that particular menu item, we will certainly refund your money or offer a credit.

If we’ve delivered your soup to the wrong Soup Group due to a selection made on the check-out page, we are not able to reroute that soup back to you. However, we will help make arrangements for you to pick up at that location.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Pepper and Salt Kitchen collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://pepperandsaltkitchen.com/ website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Pepper and Salt Kitchen.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

Pepper and Salt Kitchen may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To process payments
    We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To send periodic emails
    We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others.
